A personal project

Whenever I am out and see something interesting or inspiring I take a quick pic of it on my iphone. Today I was at one of my favorite stores, Urban Outfitters, and I saw this photo display. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to make my own version of it from some of my Michigan vacation pics.

So here is the inspiration piece:

And here are a few different versions I played around with:

I decided that the last one is the one I am going to send to print and have mounted but I think I will also make version #2 with some Holga prints I have.

Little Ones

I just setup a new page dedicated to little faces. This blog will continue to be focused on seniors and personal work/projects (which I will be getting back to one of these days!) From now on baby/kids will be here.

Like teachers, photographers aren't supposed to have favorites. But sometimes it's really really hard not to.

Rocio Senior Portraits

Friday, October 1, 2010

October 1st already?! Time flies when you're having fun. I am loving shooting all these senior girls. I'm not ready for the season to end in a couple weeks! But I am looking forward to sharing all the great sessions here on the blog. I have met so many awesome creative people that have rocked the camera. Which brings me to Rocio. She is a 3rd year photo student at her high school and scoped out this killer location for her shoot.
